Get overseas items without flying
Post what you’re looking for, review offers from travellers and only proceed once you’re comfortable with the fee and timing. Payment is held until the journey is properly completed.
ZapLah is a peer-to-peer travel shopping platform that connects people who need overseas items with travellers who can help bring them home. Payments are protected, expectations are clear, and both Requesters and Travellers get built-in tools that keep every trip fair and transparent.
ZapLah is built as a neutral platform that protects both sides: Requesters only pay when a traveller commits to a request, and Travellers only get paid after purchase and delivery steps are recorded. If something feels off, our dispute flow allows the case to be reviewed based on evidence, chat history and status logs.
Post what you’re looking for, review offers from travellers and only proceed once you’re comfortable with the fee and timing. Payment is held until the journey is properly completed.
Browse requests that match your route, agree on a price upfront, and receive payouts after you upload proof and the requester confirms or the safety window closes.
ZapLah focuses on popular Asia-Pacific lanes, with multi-language support to keep everyone on the same page.
ZapLah is built around real travel behavior, focusing on clear expectations, transparent steps, and reliable coordination. The platform ensures both parties understand their roles, timelines, and responsibilities, while offering a straightforward process to handle changes or issues, creating a smooth, trustworthy, and predictable experience for travellers and requesters.
Travellers are shown item requests that match their travel dates, routes, and destinations, making it easy to find opportunities that fit their journey. Requesters can then browse incoming offers, compare prices and profiles, and choose the traveller they feel most confident working with.
Requests can be set in local terms while charges are processed in a single settlement currency. If you’re unsure about the exact amount, you can mark a request as Open to offers and let travellers propose a fair, transparent price. ZapLah keeps the experience simple and consistent for both sides.
Payments remain securely held while travellers upload proof of purchase and delivery. ZapLah’s built-in timers, status checks, and fair dispute-resolution rules protect both sides, ensuring genuine travellers receive their earnings and genuine requesters recover their money when items are not delivered as agreed.
In-app chat, smart status banners, and timely reminders keep both parties aligned throughout the process. They help reinforce what was agreed, clarify upcoming steps, confirm meeting arrangements, and highlight any pending actions, so travellers and requesters stay coordinated from start to finish.
Simple steps for both Requesters and Travellers, with clear checkpoints along the way.
Requesters post what they need and where it’s from. Travellers browse matching requests and send offers that fit their trip.
Once an offer is accepted, payment is held safely. Travellers can proceed with confidence, and requesters only pay when steps are completed.
Travellers upload proof of purchase and delivery. Requesters confirm, and payment is released — or reviewed if something goes wrong.
No. ZapLah is a marketplace that connects people who need items with travellers who are already going that way. We do not operate our own delivery fleet and we do not physically handle items. All arrangements are made directly between requesters and travellers through the app.
Payments are authorised and held while the trip is in progress, rather than paid out immediately. Proof of purchase and proof of delivery must be submitted in-app, and a structured dispute process is available if either side raises a concern. We also use verification checks and community ratings to encourage responsible behaviour.
If something doesn’t go as planned, either side can raise a dispute in the app. Our team will look at available evidence such as receipts, photos and chat history. Depending on what actually happened, the outcome may be a refund to the requester, payout to the traveller, or another fair resolution.
When a trip is successfully completed and the relevant checks are passed, ZapLah arranges payouts to travellers via partnered payment and banking providers. Processing times may vary depending on the traveller’s bank and country.
ZapLah itself is not a bank or licensed payment institution. We do not hold customer balances like a traditional stored-value wallet. Instead, we work with regulated payment processors and banks to handle the movement of funds in a compliant way.
By creating an account or using ZapLah, you agree to our Terms of Service and all applicable laws. You must provide accurate details, treat others respectfully, and ensure any requested or transported items comply with customs, airline, and local regulations. ZapLah may act against users who misuse the platform, engage in fraud, or create unsafe situations, including suspending or closing accounts when required.
Payments from requesters are handled by third-party providers, with funds typically authorised or held until required steps—like purchase or delivery proof—are completed. Traveller payouts occur only after these steps and any disputes are resolved, following our Terms. Timing may vary depending on operations and banking. Platform fees or currency conversions may apply and will be shown before confirmation.
ZapLah provides the platform but does not buy or sell items, act as a carrier, or participate in agreements between requesters and travellers. Each user is responsible for their conduct, travel decisions, and regulatory compliance. Although we offer protected payments, dispute review, and ratings, outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Our liability remains limited as detailed in the full Terms of Service.

You can request deletion of your ZapLah account and associated personal data at any time by emailing support@zaplah.com from your registered email address with the subject “Data Deletion Request – ZapLah”.
When a valid deletion request is received, we delete or anonymise your profile information, contact details, basic usage data and other personal information that is no longer needed for legal, tax, security or fraud-prevention reasons.
Certain records, such as transaction logs, payout records and dispute files, may be retained for a limited period to meet legal, regulatory and audit obligations. These records are not used for marketing and are access-restricted to authorised personnel only.

Do not request or carry items that are illegal, restricted or dangerous. It is your responsibility to check customs, airline and local rules before agreeing to any request or trip.
